This would be a great day for a Maryland Terps win. At home in College Park, Maryland and facing a tough Michigan opponent would right this ship for the Terps. Coach Mike Locksley has his work cut out for him in this game plan. Michigan (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten, No. 6 CFP) comes in ranked 8th in the country as they moved up in the polls. There only loss this season was to Michigan State. Maryland has sunk to .500 after starting their season at 4-0.
The Vegas line gives Maryland little chance as they are a 15 1/2 point underdog according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Can the Terps quarterback, Taulia Tagovailoa, step up and carry his team today? Michigan DEs Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo are a menacing pair coming from both edges with a formidable pass rush. The Terps line must give Tagovailoa enough time to do his thing.
The Maryland defense has another tall order in trying to shutdown another a top running back. This week it is Hassan Haskins who the Terps’ D has to set their sights on. Let’s see if Maryland can pull of a huge upset and send Michigan back to where they came from with a message that the Terps are legit.
Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. EST on televised on the Big Ten Network.
